I have been a photographer for over 35 years. My images have been published in several magazines and newspapers and, I'm am proud to state, my camera has literally taken me around the world.

Photographers paint with light and the quality of THE light is a crucial element for any artist. The Expression "Quality-of-Light" is a phrase I use to describe the direction and luminous quality of light illuminating a subject. The low angle of the sun, for instance, produces long shadows and warm colors that help reveal the depth and texture of a scene. Using light correctly is what sets the mood and helps create an air of mystery.

In my travels I enjoy visiting our National Parks where I derive great inspiration from nature's enduring beauty. I always have a camera handy in order to record those fleeting, once in a lifetime moments.
